Workshops for Autumn 2018

Conscious breathing is a fast-growing choice being made by people who care about their health and well-being and Transformational Breath® is on the cutting edge of this movement. Through a simple, natural and profound breathing technique, combined with sound and gentle hands-on body work, you can open up the whole of your respiratory system for optimal functioning. You can have more energy, deeper relaxation and better emotional resilience in the face of today’s stresses and strains. You can get closer to who you were meant to be.

So here are some opportunities to find out more about this wonderful modality in Birmingham and Solihull this Autumn.

Valerie is returning to the Crescent Theatre in Sheepcote Street, Brindley Place in the heart of Birmingham to offer an Introduction to Transformational Breath®, which will include a full breath session, on Saturday morning 6th October 10.00 am - 1.00 pm. And on Sunday 28th October there is a day of Transformational Breath and Sacred Voice - looking at the toning and vocal sound which forms part of the modality and playing with it. Finding a way to give voice to feeling and to speak our truth. There will be two full breath sessions in this day. This is also open to beginners but you’ll get even more out of it if you’ve come to an Introduction first. And of course there is absolutely no requirement to be a "singer".

Valerie will be in Solihull at the Solihull Women's Institute, 745 Warwick Road, B91 3DG on Saturday 13th October and Saturday 10th November - both 2.00 pm - 5.00 pm. These are also Introductions to Transformational Breath - but you don't have to just come once. Every breath session is dynamic and different because we are always changing. So you can build on what you've experienced and learnt about your own breathing and yourself, each time you come to a session.

The investment you make is your time and £50 for a half day/£80 for the full day workshop/£80 if you come to two of the half day introductions. Booking and payment in advance is essential so that Valerie can plan each event tailored to the numbers who are coming. Contact 07961 302719 or email [email protected]

What to bring: wear comfortable, loose clothing and bring some warm socks. You will be asked to remove belts and shoes but no other item of clothing. Mats will be provided and some pillows and blankets but if you can bring a couple of your own pillows and a favourite blanket this will be helpful, so please do. Bring a bottle of water although tap water is available in Solihull. For the whole-day workshop fruit and some snacks will be provided. Please bring a sandwich etc to save having to go out hunting and so you can rest over the lunch break.
